Capacity management, green IT (electricity, component and climate efficiency), operation, monitoring and virtualization are among the challenges for modern data center management (DCIM: Data Center Infrastructure Management). The AixBOMS Data Center Management provides the user with a CMDB-based application with a 3D view, area and overview plans, cabinet management and visualization (rack management), power management, reports and detailed technical device data within a uniform user interface.Dashboards
Dashboards are aggregated information displays with up to 60 different types of graphical diagrams. The individual elements are interactive and can be selected, changed or adapted by the user. In addition to preconfigured views for each application, individual dashboards can be individually designed in AixBOMS.The integrated area plan editor makes additional maintenance of drawings or overview plans with special visualization tools, such as in Microsoft Visio ™, superfluous. Basic plans for floors or areas can be stored and enriched with CMDB objects. The integration of BIM (Building Information Modeling), the use of maps (Maps Integration) and the digital twin (3D view) has recently been added.

Special calculation and evaluation functions and reports support CMDB-based capacity management. The high level of integration in the basic CMDB makes further technical infrastructure data available, for example on cable and network connections, customer and contract management or for the provision of services. Special objects and calculations for electricity and climate data (power management) help you achieve your Green IT goals or directly avoid over- and under-capacities.Highlights
