Eaton ePDU G3 Managed Features
By alternating phases per section on all 3-phase 32A EPDUs, the load distribution is simplified by shorter cables.
The firmware is updated regularly to keep ePDU cyber security at the highest level.
Allows safe remote control and remote reboot
Allows measurement value acquisition for devices at A and B infeeds
IEC output connector fixation eGrip: Secures all standard IEC connectors compatible with the IEC P-Lock interlock.
Level 3 PUE measurements
Measure equipment at A and B infeeds and switch on and off (chained ePDUs required)
Sequence control of the outputs to avoid high inrush currents and to start the devices in the correct order
Input and phase measurement, current measurement at the circuit breaker, output measurement
High security with user access control, password protection and SSL configurable to 1024 or 2048 bit
60 ° C operating temperature
Far-coded outputs and branch circuits for easy load balancing
Eaton's hydraulic / magnetic switch disconnectors with touch protection
Extra flat circuit breakers and flat housings with a small form factor to prevent accidental tripping.
Bulk configuration and update available through the Intelligent Power Manager software
Single Pane Monitoring of many ePDUs + UPSs as part of the energy supply chain, and gentle shutdown of the equipment via the Intelligent Power Manager software
Vertical units (0U) can be attached using buttons (rear / side) or with the patented variable clamps from Eaton. Horizontal units (1U / 2U) are supplied with rack ears.
The ePDU G3 can be used together with the Intelligent Power Manager software to initiate VM migration or VMware Site Recovery Manager based on user-defined ePDU alarm messages, including limit violations or temperature and humidity warnings.
