Optima INV DXW 16V1A1 + 1x AMAE6
The OPTIMA series from Airsys was specially developed for use in
small, medium and large data centers or for process cooling or in
Clean room applications.
OPTIMA devices are designed for continuous operation with maximum reliability and have a high-precision temperature and humidity control.
OPTIMA INV-DXW devices have EC fans and inverters
Compressor technology. A water-cooled circuit and external dry cooler are used to minimize the refrigerant charge for optimized environmental compatibility.

Optima.INV-DXW
Direct expansion device, water-cooled (DXW)
The water-cooled DX system (DXW) works similarly to the air-cooled system, but the refrigerant transmits the
heat given off via a plate heat exchanger to water. The heat is transferred via a dry cooler or cooling tower
then released to the outside air.
No additional refrigerant lines are required on site. Piping is only required for the water circuit,
which makes the installation much easier. The internal refrigerant circuit is sealed and pressure tested before delivery,
the device being supplied with a hold charge of nitrogen.
Water-cooled DX unit with indirect free cooling (FC.DXW)
The FC.DXW system combines mechanical DXW cooling with indirect free cooling (FC). The two cooling modes share the same thing
Water system.
If cooling is required and the difference between indoor and ambient temperatures allows, then the FC unit will
operated to provide indirect free cooling by dissipating heat via a dry cooler or cooling tower. Only if the free
If the cooling capacity is not sufficient to cover the cooling requirement, the DXW unit starts mechanical cooling. The FC circuit enables
a significant reduction in compressor operating hours for the DXW system and saves considerable energy.
Water-cooled DX device with 2 cooling sources (DC.DXW)
The DC.DXW unit is a two-circuit system, the mechanical DXW cooling (water-cooled) and cold water cooling (CW)
offers. It contains two independent cold water circuits with different heat dissipation methods for redundancy reasons.
